1. What personal information is collected
Two kinds of personal information reach OpSkills:
- Data you type into a form. Every form on the site (newsletter subscribe, Stack Calculator email delivery, Partner Bonus claim, contact) collects at minimum your email address, and in some cases your first name and free-text answers you provide. These fields are always labelled at the point of entry.
- Analytics data your browser sends automatically. Aggregated request metadata — page URL, referrer, coarse device type, coarse geography (country level), timestamp — reaches Cloudflare Web Analytics for site traffic measurement. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
2. Why it's collected
Form submissions are used to deliver whatever the form promised (an email, a calculator output, a bonus-match confirmation) and to send a small number of follow-up emails on the same topic if you opted in. Analytics data is used to understand which posts are being read and where readers are getting stuck, so I can improve the site.
3. Who processes it on my behalf
OpSkills uses two third-party processors:
- HighLevel Inc. (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector). Every form submission is sent via an inbound webhook to a workflow in a GoHighLevel account. HighLevel stores the email + any submitted fields and sends the follow-up emails on my behalf. HighLevel operates the CRM and email delivery infrastructure. Their own privacy policy governs what they do with the data as a processor.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (Web Analytics). Cloudflare collects the aggregated request metadata described in section 1. They do not receive form submissions, do not set cookies, and do not receive any personally identifiable information from the site.
No other third party receives your data. There is no ad retargeting, no data broker sharing, no cross-site tracking pixel on OpSkills.
4. Cookies and affiliate tracking
OpSkills sets one first-party cookie of its own:
op-banner-dismissed — a strictly-necessary cookie
that remembers when you have dismissed the small promo banner
below the header so it stays dismissed for 60 days. It stores a
single value (“1”) and identifies nothing about you.
When you click an affiliate link on the site (any “Start
GoHighLevel free” button or an in-body link to
gohighlevel.com), the destination URL carries a
FirstPromoter reference identifier so HighLevel can credit the
referral. Any cookies that then get set live on HighLevel's own
domain, are set by HighLevel or their affiliate provider
(FirstPromoter), and are governed by their privacy policies —
not this one.
5. Retention
Form submissions are retained in the GoHighLevel workflow / contact database until you request deletion, or until I retire the associated audience or campaign. Cloudflare Web Analytics data is retained per Cloudflare's default schedule (typically six months of aggregate traffic data).
6. Cross-border data transfer
I operate from India. GoHighLevel and Cloudflare are US-based, and the majority of OpSkills readers are in the US. This means personal information you submit through a form is transferred across borders — from wherever you are, to Super In Tech in India, and to GoHighLevel and Cloudflare in the US.
By submitting a form on OpSkills you are consenting to that transfer. If you would prefer not to have your data processed by US-based providers, do not submit a form; you can still read every post on the site without providing any personal information.
7. Your rights under GDPR (EEA / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- The right to access a copy of the personal data OpSkills holds about you.
- The right to correction of inaccurate personal data.
- The right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”).
- The right to restriction of processing.
- The right to data portability — a machine-readable copy of what you provided.
- The right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- The right to withdraw consent to email at any time, by clicking Unsubscribe on any email or emailing the address in section 10.
- The right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
The lawful basis for form data is your consent, or legitimate interest in responding to a request you made. The lawful basis for aggregate analytics is legitimate interest, and because Cloudflare Web Analytics does not identify individual visitors, most GDPR rights do not attach to it.
8. Your rights under CCPA / CPRA (California)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA gives you:
- The right to know what categories of personal information have been collected about you, why, and with whom they were shared. Section 1 and section 3 above answer this in full.
- The right to delete personal information you have provided.
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. OpSkills does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so this right applies but there is nothing to opt out of.
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
9. How to request access, correction, or deletion
Email swapnil@superintech.com from the email address the request concerns, with “Privacy request” in the subject line and a clear description of what you want done. I aim to respond within 30 days. If the request is unusually complex I will tell you sooner and give a realistic deadline.

11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the “Effective” date at the top of the page will change and a brief note will appear near the top explaining what changed. For minor edits (typo fixes, clarifying language) the Effective date may not change.
